Stage Manager

The Camelot Theatre Company is seeking a qualified individual to perform the duties of a Stage Manager. Description of job duties:
- Stage Manager works directly with the Production Manager and is responsible for the safety and welfare of all Production Personnel involved with the production process.

- Stage Manager needs to be familiar with all of CTC’s policies and procedures as written in the Board of Director’s approved manual.

- Stage Manager is the first to arrive and the last to leave all rehearsals and is responsible for unlocking and locking of the rehearsal space. The rehearsal space is to be kept in a clean and orderly condition and all CTC safety and personnel policy and equity union rehearsal rules shall be enforced.

- Stage Manager pays particular attention to the health and safety of underage production personnel and reports any unsafe or inappropriate behavior to the Production Manager or the Artistic Director immediately.

- Stage Manager arranges, in coordination with the Production Manager and Director, all production meetings.

- Stage Manager assists the director during the rehearsal process, attending all rehearsals and performances and, in coordination with the running crew, is responsible for maintaining the artist integrity of the show during the entire run of the production.

- Stage Manager keeps all designers informed of any changes that might affect the during the rehearsal process.

- Stage Manager provides all production staff with a contact sheet of everyone involved with the production and production schedules.

- Stage Manager maintains a “prompt book” and writes down all blocking and choreography during the rehearsal process. All blocking notes are the responsibility of the Stage Manager.

- Stage Manager, in coordination with the Production Manager, shall ensure that there is a rehearsal assistant on book at all rehearsals. It is the responsibility of the Stage Manager, in cooperation with the Director, to give line and dialect notes to the performers.

- Perform other relevant duties as required by the Artistic Director, Production Manager and Show Director.

Must have the ability to create and maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a professional manner; ability to execute tasks and collaborate efficiently; ability to maintain a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently and closely with Artistic Director, Production Manager and Show Director.

Costume Designer

The Camelot Theatre Company is seeking a qualified individual to perform the duties of a Costume Designer. Duties will include purchasing and creating all of the costumes and accessories that are to be worn by the cast in the production they are assigned to design. Must have background in costume design and be able to pass a criminal background check. Portfolio of previous work is preferred.

Must have the ability to create and maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a professional manner; ability to execute tasks and collaborate efficiently; ability to maintain a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently and closely with Artistic Director, Production Manager and Show Director.

Lighting Designer

The Camelot Theatre Company is seeking a qualified individual to perform the duties of a Lighting Designer. Duties will include creating beautiful and appropriate lighting for the set and performers, hanging and securing heavy lighting equipment, ability to move in tight spaces and climb straight ladders. Must have background in lighting design and be able to pass a criminal background check. Previous experience as a Lighting Designer is preferred.
