Box Office/House Management

The Camelot Theatre Company is seeking a qualified person to perform box office and house management duties on a daily basis. Duties include opening and closing the box office and house, selling tickets and concessions, answering phones, using ticketing software, providing theatre information and cleaning duties. Must be over 21 with a full service OLCC Servers Permit (or ability to obtain one quickly), have a high school diploma and be able to pass a criminal background check. Candidate needs the ability to create and maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a professional manner; ability to execute tasks and collaborate efficiently; ability to maintain a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment; provide excellent customer service and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position is part-time (15-20 hours per week), year-round and offers a minimum hourly wage with complimentary tickets to Camelot productions.

Assistant Costume Designer/Stitcher

Camelot Theatre is looking to hire a Asst. Designer/Stitcher for Part Time basis for an upcoming production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Work begins ASAP. Show opens August 31, 2016. Various afternoon & evening hours throughout the week. Mondays are the main workday. Function of Job Under general supervision from a designated supervisor, to create special costume projects as designed.

Characteristic duties, responsibilities and requirements:

Assists with Costume fittings. Manufactures and/or repairs, either by hand or machine, the costumes assigned. Manufactures or alters / makes tailored adjustments to contemporary menswear/womenswear skirts, blouses, dresses, suits, blazers and appropriate underclothing. Operates a variety of sewing machines, serger, domestic straight & zigzag machines.Experienced with Hand sewing & finishing techniques. Basic knowledge of costume construction techniques.Knowledge of garment construction and ability to interpret patterns. Will complete alterations from fittings. Strong time management skills with ability to meet costume build deadlines. Strong attention to detail & accuracy. Capacity for extended concentration & focus. Comfortable dealing with changing priorities & assignments. Follows directions well & can work for periods of time without direct supervision. Is a Team Player & Ability to work with varied personalities is a must.
